Barista Express

Description

Game that simulates the life of a barista during rush hour. My attempt at creating an "Overcooked"-like game for the Brackeys Game Jam 2025.2!

All assets used in this game were created by me during the jam period with the exception of the following:

• Plants 3D models from "Casual Plants Lite Pack" asset by GoGo Creator.
• Music from OVO ~ Quack Jazz ~

KBM controls

• WASD or Arrow Keys - Move around
• 'E' key - Interact
• 'Shift' key - Run
• 'Tab' key - Switch page in recipe book

Gamepad controls

• Left stick - Move around
• 'A' button (Xbox) | 'X' button (PS) | 'B' button (Switch) - Interact
• 'B' button (Xbox) | 'O' button (PS) | 'A' button (Switch) - Run
• Left D-Pad button - Switch to previous page in recipe book
• Right D-Pad button - Switch to next page in recipe book

Changes in V1.2

Minor quality of life improvements such as informing the player when they got the order wrong, showing what objects the player can interact with and adding a pause menu to allow the player to see the controls and to quit the game. Also, a couple of minor bug fixes.
For transparency I'm leaving both the version turned in before the jam deadline and this more polished version made during the next 48 hour period.
